Up next in our team spotlight series is Susan, our fantastic Accounts Assistant who has been a member of our team since 2021.
What is your role and what does a typical day look like for you?
As our Accounts Assistant, I am responsible for managing and looking after key areas of our accounts system including processing customer and supplier invoices, liaising with our payroll department, supporting our accountant with any queries and also keeping up to date with our HR records.
When did you join the Dennis Distribution team?
I joined Dennis Distribution in 2021 and I was attracted to the role because of the working pattern and the friendly and welcoming working environment.
What is your favourite thing about your role?
I really enjoy the variety of my job and also the challenges that come with the role.
What is your favourite thing about working at Dennis Distribution?
I really enjoy the working environment and being part of an established and supportive company, and again the variety that comes with my job role.
Outside of work, what are your hobbies or interests?
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, reading and spending time with family.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to pursue a career similar to yours?
As long as you are prepared to work hard the satisfaction of completing a task is worth it.
